Very Semi-Serious is an offbeat documentary about humor, art and the genius of the single panel.  The film goes behind-the-scenes of The New Yorker and introduces the cartooning legends and hopefuls who create the iconic cartoons that have inspired, baffled—and occasionally pissed off—all of us for decades.

The film won a 2016 Emmy (R) Award for Outstanding Arts & Culture Programming and was nominated for Outstanding Documentary Editing. For updates on the film and to find future screenings, follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
